Description
Cats’ Corner Malmö welcomes you to a weekend full of Collegiate Shag! Shag is a playful, fast and fun swing dance from the 20’s and 30’s. This dance is also known for being commonly used when cartoon characters dance, for example this Donald Duck cartoon from the 40’s.
We’re very excited to welcome Niomi McSorley (DK) and Sofie Skaneby (SE) to teach this workshop. These excellent, experienced, and expressive dancers will inspire you to shag like never before!
The level will be open, which means a focus on basics that will be suitable both for dancers that haven’t tried Collegiate Shag at all before and those that have tried it before but feel rusty!
The workshop will also include a Saturday party, entrance to which is included with the workshop!
